Growing up on the water in the restaurant/resort, and marina business, boats were never just equipment to me. They were, in many cases, a sign of freedom I could only hope to achieve one day. Early morning water skiing with friends and family, easy afternoons under the sun, tying up at the sand bar, or fishing for the biggest largemouth bass and salt water game fish one could imagine, were the kind of days that stick with me even today. My wife and I still have the first "Big" boat we acquired. I have to pinch myself every time I step on board. We realize that for many of us, this is a dream come true.

Keeping a boat running and available for use became a hobby, then a skill, then a business.
